Enzo and Jacques have known each other for a long time. Their friendship started in their childhood days in the mediterranean. They were not real friends in these days, but there was something they both loved and used to do the whole day long: diving. One day Jacques' father, who was a diver too, died in the mediterranean sea. After that incident Enzo and Jacques lost contact. After several years, Enzo and Jacques had grown up, Johanna, a young clerk in a security office, has to go to Peru. There she meets Jacques who works for a group of scientist. He dives for some minutes into ice cold water and the scientist monitor his physical state that is more like a dolphin's than a human's. Johanna can not believe what she sees and gets very interested in Jacques but she's unable to get acquainted with him. Some weeks later, back in her office, she notices a championship for divers that is supposed to take place in Taormina, Italy. In order to see Jacques again she makes up a story so the firm sends her to Italy for business purposes. In Taormina there is also Enzo, the reigning diving world champion. He knows that only Jacques can challenge and probably beat him. This time Johanna and Jacques get closer, but Jacques, being more a dolphin than a man, can not really commit and his rivalry with Enzo pushes both man into dangerous territory..

Ξεκίνησα να δω το απέραντο γαλάζιο χωρίς μεγάλες προσδοκίες ...περίμενα ότι θα είναι μια ταινία καταδύσεων με πανέμορφα τοπία .Οτι πρέπει για το καλοκαιράκι . Λάθος . τα πράγματα δεν είναι τόσο απλά , ποτέ δεν είναι .Κατά τη γνώμη μου είναι μια ταινία για τα θέλω μας στη ζωή η μάλλον για τον τρόπο που θα θέλαμε να είναι η ζωή μας ,για τους περιορισμούς τής καθημερινότητας ... την πραγματικότητα και την κατάρριψη της τελευταίας ... τον έρωτα ...τα όνειρα μας… τους απώτερους στόχους μας .... την ελευθερία .
Τα τοπία ...όχι απλά όμορφα , μαγικά , μουσική που σε αγγίζει
και τέλος ...το τέλος .... η κορύφωση της ανθρώπινης ύπαρξης . (8/10)

νιώθεις δάκρυα να κυλανε στο πρόσωπο σου ...
δεν ξέρεις τι είναι ...
ίσως η καταπληκτική μουσική του Ennio Morricone...
ή η νοσταλγία γι αυτά που πέρασαν η και ακόμα ...γι αυτά που δεν έζησες…

Η Γιουνγκ-Γκουν, μια νεαρή, όμορφη γυναίκα που πιστεύει ότι είναι cyborg, εισάγεται
σε ψυχιατρείο. Αρνείται πεισματικά να φάει και μόνο ο έρωτάς της για τον Ιλ-Σουν –ο οποίος μπορεί να κλέβει τις ιδιότητες των άλλων– θα τη βοηθήσει να βρει τη φυλακισμένη της γιαγιά.

Τώρα τι να πεις για τον Chan-wook Park ?
...μετά την αξέχαστη τριλογία της εκδίκησης δημιουργεί μια ερωτική ιστορία (σαν όλες τις άλλες ?) σε καμία περίπτωση ..
Με το δικό του μοναδικό τρόπο κάνει το όνειρο ένα με τη πραγματικότητα ...σουρεαλιστικές καταστάσεις σε κάνουν να χαμογελάς ...
φεύγοντας από την αίθουσα ..ήμουν ο πιο ευτυχισμένος άνθρωπος στον κόσμο ...μια ευχαρίστηση και ολοκλήρωση ...με τον ίδιο τρόπο που την είχα νιώσει μετά το τέλος της Lady Vengeance...όμως αυτή τη φορά όχι με την εκδίκηση ...αλλά με τον έρωτα ...

Είναι λίγες οι φορές που μια ταινία κατορθώνει να σε κάνει να νιώσεις έτσι ...ανάξιος να κάνεις σχόλιο .Μένεις σιωπηλός...προσπαθείς να το συνειδητοποιήσεις .Απλά καθηλωτική.
