Αν η λύτρωση είναι αυτό που νομίζεις ότι θα έχεις φίλτατε αναγνώστη ...αν ψάχνεις να βρεις τα κίνητρα για τις πράξεις των δυο επισκεπτών ...ατύχησες....εκεί που νομίζεις ότι έρχεται η εξιλέωση και των πρωταγωνιστών και η δική σου εκεί θα σου έρθει στο δόξα πατρι το " τηλεκοντρόλ " και θα λες τι έκανα θεέ μου για να τα περνάω αυτά ...Ο Haneke όχι μόνο κατακρίνει την αμερικάνικη βιομηχανία ταινιών που προάγει τη βία αλλά σε τιμωρεί και εσένα και τα S&M ένστικτα σου που επέλεξες να την δείς .(ααα όλα κι όλα... σου&μου αξίζει )
Να συμπληρώσω εδώ ότι μας τιμωρεί για δεύτερη φορά (βλέπε αρχικά Funny Games (1997)
και μάλιστα με τον ίδιο πανομοιότυπο τρόπο ....το μόνο που άλλαξε ήταν οι γλώσσα και οι ηθοποιοί (από όλο το καστ που έμοιαζε να έχει γεννηθεί για τους ρόλους τους ....θα ξεχωρίσω Naomi Watts και Michael Pitt που για άλλη μια φορά έδωσαν ρέστα )

The Prophecy (1995)

Years after losing his faith, Detective Thomas Daggett, (Elias Koteas) is assigned to a murder case where the victim is almost unrecognizable. Finding an ancient bible among the victim's belongings, he begins to translate it and finds that it contains a previously-unknown chapter detailing a second war in Heaven among angels. On an Indian Reservation in Arizona, teacher Katherine Henley, (Virginia Madsen) thinks that something's wrong with her children, and it leads Det. Daggett to the area. Also racing to the area is Gabriel, (Christopher Walken) a renegade angel wanting to restore Heaven to it's former past. Investigating the appearance of the angel and the sudden chaos in the town, they band together to stop the renegade angel from unleashing a war on Earth that will tear apart Heaven above.

Things get more complicated as would-be lawyer Mike plays the tapes from a former patient with multiple personalities, including the mysterious Simon who does not appear until Session 9, and as Hank disappears after finding some old coins.

Macy) who has been hired to find Marion and the money. But a deadly secret is waiting to be discovered inside the Bates house.

...παρόλ’αυτά θα πω αυτά που έχω να πω ,
Για το συγκεκριμένο remake έχουν ακουστεί διάφορα ,η γνωμη μου ειναι πως η ταινία βλέπεται ...και μάλιστα ευχάριστα .Σίγουρα πάντως δεν υπάρχει μέτρο σύγκρισης με το original (6/10)

The infamous Jack the Ripper case set in London of 1888. The Ripper has been running amok in the Whitechapel district murdering and dissecting prostitutes. Inspector Fred Abberline, aided by his partner, Peter Godley, are on the case to figure out who this serial killer is and why he is killing these women in such a brutal manner. Abberline is an opium addict , he is able to have visions of the future, a certain psychic ability that allows him to solve cases. As Abberline and Godley investigate the crimes, they become acquainted with the prostitutes who were friends and colleagues of the victims. Abberline begins to fall in love with Mary Kelly, one of the prostitutes, being hunted down by Jack the Ripper. Abberline digs deeper and deeper into the conspiracy and attempts to solve the case before Mary Kelly is the next victim.
